Other limited series such as The Dropout, Pam and Tommy and Dopesick are competitive contenders, but The White Lotus has everything. Season 3 picks up right where the Season 2 finale left off and continues to follow the family as a scattered Kendall attempts to wage a campaign against Logan's leadership while also trying to keep the company in the family name. He's all alone except for cousin Greg, who always looks like he needs to puke. The Season 2 finale left on a fiery note - Logan's submissive and guilt-ridden son Kendall blew everything out of the water by placing the responsibility of the cruise scandal on his father. And, of course, Alan Ruck as the firstborn Roy child. For those who've never seen Succession, it's worth a watch just by the cast alone Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin and Matthew Macfadyen all deliver stand-out performances. The siblings are vying for control after the health of their father, Logan Roy, deteriorates. Succession follows the Roy family, the owners of Waystar Royco, a global media company (the Murdoch family is an obvious inspiration for the Roys). ![]() With nine episodes and dramatic family brawls, Succession is a force to be reckoned with. ![]() Leading the HBO pack this Emmy Award season is the third season of Succession.
